El Paso's foremost institution of higher education is the University of Texas at El Paso. Affectionately called Harvard on the Border by locals, UTEP offers quality Bachelors, Masters, and Doctoral programs in a wide range of disciplines. It is part of the University of Texas System and boasts over 17,000 on its rolls each semester. Its quality education and the campus buildings' beautiful Tibetan architecture create an atmosphere conducive to learning and exploration.




El Paso's foremost institution of higher education is the University of Texas at El Paso.
